We got to the airport and boarded a flight for Melbourne, where we had an hour to get across the airport and pick up a connecting fight to Sydney.

After sorting out the time differences we managed to call Laurel and she came to collect us, taking us across Sydney to our Australian base! We were re-united after our round trip of Australia and it felt like going home as we were able to tell Laurel and Dale about all of the places we had been to and hear about what they had been doing since we left them at Christmas.
