The Journey Begins

We have both now finished work. We have one week before we set off and are counting down the days.

In a convoluted arrangement Paul is travelling to York by road and I am heading up to Durham by train to see Richard now he has finished his exams.
Paul and I will meet up in York and then head for Hull where we set sail by ferry to Holland and will arrive in Europe for 13th June.

The plan

We have attached a rough program showing where we hope to be at the beginning of each week. Obviously this will change and there will be the odd unexpected long stay that will throw us off our target.

We hope to get to see as much as possible so intend to include Bulgaria and Greece too if we can squeeze them in.

Welcome - we are due to set off from the UK on our European tour at the end of May.

This is the beast we are going to live in. It sleeps 5 and is very spacious with a bed over the cab. There is a shower and toilet, cooker and fridge - so we are fairly self sufficient.
